I repeat this about every six months because it is important. When a lie is told, there are normally two guilty parties. There is the teller of the lie and the person for whom the truth isn’t good enough.
If Lance Armstrong was honest to admit he was doping, I think the people who believed he wasn’t should be honest enough to admit they are stupid. The charge people get out of righteous indignation is more sickening than anything Lance Armstrong did. There wasn’t any lie involved in this. The make believe was voluntary on everyone’s part. I wonder who really doubted at any time that Lance Armstrong was taking steroids?
