The Worship of James Comey the FBI and Fantasies

james-comey-fbi-director_29603_ver1.0_1280_720Chances are that James Comey reacted to threats. The story is that Comey is totally righteous. He has no critics. This is because FBI director is a position of worship. Society fits such individuals with halos. From that point on he can do no wrong.

A fantasy free economist, which is what I am, treats all people the same. The head of anything gets no halo. Rather than assume Comey is totally righteous, I pay attention to what he does and pay no mind to any preconceived notions about how honest he is. If he does dishonest and deceptive things, then he is dishonest and deceptive.

Organized crime owns your government. Organized crime owns the FBI by virtue of owning the government. Organized crime to some degree owns all representatives and senators. Some lawmakers are completely owned. How do we know which ones? Just watch and listen. Anytime a lawmaker says or does something that seems completely out of character or unreasonable, the activity is mob inspired. Crossing the mob has severe consequences. I suggest listening to Paul Ryan or Lindsay Graham.

Remember the bizarre Bill Clinton meeting with Loretta Lynch. The best place to threaten someone is in a setting where no recording can be made. Lynch had no choice but to do what she was told to do. James Comey had no choice either.

Fantasy free, euphemism free thinking is not that pleasant. There is an upside. The assessment of any observation is nearly always accurate. I can’t imagine the stress one would go through purging the mind of fantasies and euphemisms. I really don’t know. I was born the way I am.

There is something very unique about observing an activity in the present. There are no numbers to make reference to. Nothing can be proved. Observations can be made and anecdotal evidence can be used. But, without the handicap of false definitions and information perception of reality is nearly 100% accurate. Incentives that people have become completely clear. What is seen is true.

Self interest is the controlling influence in any social transaction. What the FBI director did was in his own self interest. He removed him from harms way. I can’t say that I blame him but his doing so was very damaging to the country.

One fantasy that is universal to all people is that government and people working in government are acting in the best interest of the folks they are charged with serving. For anyone interested in giving up fantasies, that one is a good one to start with.

If you read the blog, it is easy to see that there are just a few charts, no math and no quantitative analysis. That is not by accident. Given what I know, those items are completely useless. I do turn out to be highly adept at applying natural law. Natural law has predominance over any principles the social science comes up. By virtue of understanding natural law, I can debunk, in just a few sentences , any theory that calls for intervention by a government. My taking the time to understand the ins and outs of Keynes General Theory is about like expecting a chemistry student to completely grasp all that the alchemists of the middle ages thought they understood in efforts to turn base metals into goal. Keynesian theory clearly calls for complete objectivity. Government can only make political decisions. Keynesian techniques call for economic decisions. So, why go any further with that? Fantasy Free Economics is in a sense a lot like technical analysis. Technical analysis began with the premise that it was impossible to gain enough information studying fundamentals to gain a trading advantage. Study the behavior of investors instead. Unlike technical analysis, I don't use technical charts. What I understand are the incentives of different people and entities active in the economics arena. For example, there is no such thing as an incentive to serve with life in the aggregate. In the aggregate, only self interest applies. It is routinely assumed otherwise. That is highly unappealing. But, I am sorry. That is the way it is. I can accept that because I am genuinely in touch with reality. Step one in using Fantasy Free Economics is for me to understand just how little I really know. A highly credentialed economist may know 100 times what I do based on the standard dogma. Compare the knowledge each of us has compared to all there is to know and we both look like we know nothing at all. There is always more than we don't know than what we do know. I am humble enough to present myself on that basis. Why? That is the way it is. I am not bad at math. I have taught math. What I understand is when to use it and when to rely on something else. Math is useless in natural law so I don't use it. While others look at numbers, I am busy understanding the forces in nature that makes their numbers what they are. That gives me a clear advantage.
