I wrote the following article back in January. Hillary Clinton really is the best liar in the history of the world. There is an unexplained dynamic that terrific liars possess. There is something about them that makes ordinary people love and defend them. Hillary Clinton and even good but lesser liars, endlessly support others in wrong things they believe.

In voters minds, discrediting Clinton is the equivalent of discrediting themselves. She finds the corruption in others and validates it. No other living human being could be caught in so many lies and have no less than a plurality love her. Of course she is also well connected. FBI directory Comey obviously faced enormous consequences if he would have recommended prosecution. Threats may have been made against his family. He could not afford to be honest so he wasn’t.

The danger of letting national leaders off when they commit crimes will have unfathomable consequences. Probably the least serious consequence is that ordinary people lose respect for law in general and everyone becomes more likely to to break the law. Other consequences are so severe that it is hard to think about.
