Trump and Taxes

Never support a change in the tax code unless there is a decrease in spending first. Otherwise, spending will increase afterword.

The most important role taxes can play outside of government is in keeping citizens informed as to the cost of government.

Generally changes in the tax code with no decrease in spending usher in a new round of spending. Citizens are unlikely to object because their tax burden has been lessened.
