Fantasy Free A Way To Survive

Happiness is achieved mostly by viewing the world we live in through the prism of fantasy. Is that all that bad? It doesn’t seem to be. How else is a person to be happy in a universe where all living things must survive in a system of dominance and subservience? The easiest way is to replace harsh realities with euphemisms and more pleasant notions. Decades can go by where it seems not to matter whether a person lives in a dream world or stares cold realities directly in the face. Most of the time it may actually not matter. So, why take a fantasy free approach to live? Very simply, fantasy free is a way to survive in a crisis period.

During a world war, fantasy free is a better approach as it is in a depression or in any number of situations when looking reality coldly in the face puts a person at a distinct advantage. I have studied history for many years and I am not sure I can find a period where the citizens of in any country were as divorced from reality as they are in the United States today. Today, Americans for the most part believe our military is fighting for noble causes when they are in fact fighting for profits for people with enough political power to have troops deployed out of personal interest. Politicians are believed to be representing citizens when they are in fact fleecing their constituents. Government is seen as naturally honest when in fact truth is not used in politics at all unless by accident. Government is seen as a benevolent institution when it is and always has been a play ground for predators. These are what I call reality gaps. The country’s economy and political system are in the process of collapsing and the average person is not even aware there is a problem.

In a different time and place I would not even be writing this blog. At this particular time in history it is of extreme importance, at least for a little while, to shed euphemisms and expose fantasies. The well being of you and your family depends upon it. Your lives may also depend on it. It is time to sober up and face the crisis. You might ask, what crisis?

Your government is not functioning as a government. Your government runs about the same ways as does a crime family. Your economic system has been sabotaged. In a free market, government imposes free market discipline. Today your government creates feeding frenzies for the rich and politically powerful.

The economy in the United States is going to completely collapse. The entire system of government may fail. There is no way a government as corrupt as the one we have today can hold together. Laws no longer apply to everyone. Powerful people do not have to obey the law at all. In other cases laws are enforced according to what is politically profitable. Otherwise intelligent people are walking around repeating sound bites their brains have recorded and insisting they know what they are talking about. I would rather tell you that we are on the eve of a golden age where there will be nothing but peace and prosperity. But the collapse is coming.

In the coming days fantasy free thinking will be a way to survive.

The truth is a hard sell. Fantasy Free Economics gains readers one at a time. Major search engines simply do not list blogs which disagree with their political agenda. As long as folks share the link to this blog and others speaking out against the grain, the truth will at least trickle into the public consciousness.

Fantasy Free Economics recommends the following blogs.

Why are Billionaires Pro Immigration?

Is it a confusing to you that the billionaire class is one hundred percent behind unbounded unlimited immigration? There is a reason. Billionaires are importing customers. You are importing neighbors.

Billionaires will interact with immigrants by selling them goods and services. You will interact with immigrants on the street where customs, outlooks and behaviors will clash.

Fascism is a great economic system for the rich and powerful. Government is used to transfer wealth and income from the poor and middle class to folks at the upper income levels. Fascism hurts the rich in only one way. The poor are a great market for goods and services. They spend all of the money they earn and they spend it on what the billionaire class produces. Fascism so destroys the poor that the billionaire class ends up killing off their natural market. The solution is to import more poor people. They work cheap and spend all they make.

Warren Buffet and Howard Schultz aggressively support immigration for any reason and from any part of the world. Immigration is their cash cow. The public will pay all the costs and they will reap the benefits. Why wouldn’t these folks welcome masses of new people with open arms?

The rich so want to bolster the market they have destroyed that their recommendation is to ignore the statute that is on the books. Their preference is to disregard the law completely and use selective enforcement only when absolutely necessary. Can you imagine a city telling a police force that the speed limit is just a guide and to not bother giving out tickets to tourists who are speeding or to only give tickets to cars with out of state licenses? Ignoring an immigration statute is based on that same type of reasoning.

Getting a Handle on Immigration

If you want to talk logically about immigration, you will be called a xenophobe, Islamophobe, and a bigot for sure. For good measure you will probably be called a homophobe, misogynist and a number of other names even though the terms may not be related to the discussion. You have to talk about it anyway.

As I always do, I will break the immigration issue down to its barest and most relevant elements. The argument for unlimited immigration is something like, “we are nice people and nice people love everyone and let them into the country.” “You don’t want them here so you are a bigot.”Donald Trump hates Muslims and you are a Muslim hater also….blah blah blah,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

There are other factors that need to be mentioned. Immigration that consists of individuals and families, deciding to opt for freedom in what they believe to be the best and fairest country in the world, occurs at a fairly slow steady pace.  The immigration we have today is intentionally drawn in almost as an emergency.

I write constantly about the claws of fascism digging into the U.S. economy. The horrors of fascism begin at lower income levels. The benefits go to the rich and trickle down but not all the way to the bottom.  The pressure to force wealth and income to the top are enormous. Once the incomes at the bottom are gone, the next highest rung gets destroyed. While the elite get rich beyond imagination, they destroy their market in the process. The elite are not concerned with the comfort of folks they destroy. The poor spend every dime they earn. If the elite can add poor to the economy by leaps and bounds, they can have enough bodies to more than replace consumers who have lost their incomes.  The misery of the new immigrants is of no concern to them.

An added benefit is that the new poor population will be made up of people who will champion the causes of the rich.  The new poor will be ignorant, malleable and easy to manipulate. The new poor who are being drawn into the country represent a gold mine to the groups planning to manipulate their opinions and behaviors. Add the new poor to the mountain of mush who are the current voter base and it is all good for the elitists.

Question this process or object and you will be slapped with all kinds of horrible labels just like Trump is. Don’t question the process and you will get poorer everyday. I am going to let them call me names and go ahead and tell the truth.

Immigration Issue Solved

bbThe United States could stop the flow immigrates over night just by making some simple changes.

If we repealed our drug laws that would stop the drug traffic from Mexico immediately. It would also make Mexico a safer country and open opportunities for Mexicans to work in their own country. United States citizens could also lose their appetite for illegal drugs. Don’t count on that to happen.

The United States could stop using its military to control the natural resources in the Mideast. The chaos in the Mideast would subside and stable countries would evolve. The countries may not be to our liking but we would be disengaged.

The United States could revert back to a free market economy and unilaterally become a free trade nation. This would go a long way toward stabilizing economies all over the world.

Problems do have solutions but but there are trade offs.  If keeping drugs illegal and controlling the resources of other countries are that important to us, we have to be willing to live with the consequences.

The consequences are a flood of immigrants and lots of terrorism. These are choices we make.

Trump on Immigration

bestI don’t know why Trump is running for president. Candidates don’t run for office because they want to help everyone else. Nature provides no natural incentive to serve. Service to mankind that is devoid of self interest is rare. There is always a Mother Teresa somewhere but these kinds of people don’t run for president.

In the minds of many, the job of president includes the task of enforcing federal laws. There is a law on the books that makes it illegal just to cross a border and come into the United States. As far as I can tell, Donald Trump is the only candidate for president in many decades who sees the importance of enforcing laws.  Immigration laws are just part of the many laws that are enforced selectively.  Many laws that have to do with the financial markets are being overlooked completely. Consumer laws are enforced if someone with political power wants them enforced. If enforcing a law is perceived to be bad for profit, then no one sees laws being broken.

So, what we have is a huge set of federal laws that are enforced selectively. Folks wonder why people at the bottom of the pyramid have lost respect for the law. It is not just those at the bottom of the food chain. It is everyone in the country. Should we make a list of laws for which enforcement is optional? Perhaps immigration laws should go on the top of that list.

Which is worse, a candidate who promises to enforce the immigration law or a candidate who promises to help people break it?
