By democracy, I am referring to all forms of government, republics and others which are based on democratic principles. Democracy is a wonderful thing. Like most wonderful things, it does more good than harm but it does bring with it a few negative issues

Democracy makes leadership open to everyone. Criminals can run for office. Un-indicted criminals can run for office without any restrictions at all. From birth forward citizens are inundated with messages that government is benevolent and that truly good people go into public service. Notions like this perhaps make everyday life less stressful but there is no truth to them whatsoever.

The system of dominance and subservience that regulates life on earth is scary and unnerving. It gets replaced with more pleasant interpretations of existence. That doesn’t mean the laws of dominance and subservience have been suspended in favor of something more gentle. It just means the preponderance of humanity is not aware of the danger they are in.

Government is not benevolent at all. Government is a giant organization where people go to get what they want. The process is completely ruthless. Those who get the most out of government are the folks who place the fewest restrictions on themselves as they go about accomplishing their goals.

Criminals prey on others but must be careful not to get charged and punished. Criminals who use government as a means of accomplishing goals do not have to worry about getting charged and punished hardly at all. Laws can be passed forcing citizens to buy specific goods and services. If criminals are restricted by a law, they can gain political power and change the law. Laws can be passed for the purpose of redistributing income.

When several hundred years pass with ordinary people remaining unaware as to how government functions, an entire country can become much like an organized crime family in terms of how it operates. Criminals who control government have a huge advantage over criminals who operate only in the private sector. With respect to people who are above a certain high income level, it is rare that their crimes are even noticed much less prosecuted.

Some Americans wring their hands and wonder why life in the country has deteriorated. I just explained why things may not be going that well.

My best estimate is that January 3 will begin with a sell off. Reasoning will be that our economic situation is so dire that higher prices are not possible. Don’t forget that any money you have available to lose, you had to earn. The Federal Reserve and its friends have any amount they can imagine. They also know that if they lose, they will almost certainly be bailed out by the government. Their gamble is heads we win tails you lose.

With all of the money the mind can imagine, none of which they have had to earn, it is easy to decide what happens to your money. Stealing it from you is not a difficult task.

Chances are extreme weakness will stabilize if not before the end of the trading day within a few trading days. By then bears will have be loaded up on short positions and be ready to be squeezed. Those with profits will cover while they can and the averages will rocket to new highs.

The other possibility is that traders may have smartened up enough enough not to participate this time. After all, the economy has been destroyed. The mob will cut and run. The Fed will be on its own and the market will crash like nothing you can imagine.

This is not a real market. I don’t trade in fake markets. Many opportunities will emerge after the crash. Again, I can’t time the crash well enough to justify trying. Buying opportunities after the crash are a certainty.

There are circumstances where I will go on the short side and I will keep you posted on that.

Lastly, assuming the mob maintains control of the market, look for AMZN, FB, APPL, NFLX and other fantasy based stocks to be weak this year. Most goosing will be in the blue chips. Be warned, the mob is not as strong as it was this time last year and any number of stunts will be tried.

Organized Crime Runs Healthcare

I frequently make the case that organized crime owns the United States government. That is not so you say? Just answer a few questions honestly and you will change your mind.

Other than through the use of government, is there any other way a thief can steal your money legally? Suppose organized crime had a way to take over the United States government, would they be interested in doing so? Is there any system in place that would stop organized crime from taking over government, if they had a way to do it?

So, has your answer changed? Does organized crime own the United States government? If you are still not convinced, take notice. Anyone can run for office, start a super pac or make a campaign contribution. Are these the kinds of things organized crime is likely to do or would do they limit themselves to running whorehouses and selling dope out of love and respect for their country?

The American mind can be conditioned to believe anything and consider unbelievably vile activities to be patriotic. Is health insurance the same as healthcare? I have never heard an American, educated or otherwise make a distinction.

Paying for healthcare is not a complicated thing for government to do. Technically all that needs to be done is have doctors bill the government to get paid for seeing a patient. The very best healthcare system is to rely heavily on the free market. Citizens will have none of that. Citizens are not smart at all in making that choice but that doesn’t mean they deserve to reamed by the mob.

I should not have to tell people that health insurance is not a synonym for healthcare. That is a simple look and see process. Strangely hardly a soul is looking and seeing. In the meantime the health insurance for everyone initiative is a gift from heaven for organized crime. The opportunities to scam and skim are endless. The mob only seemed to have had it made back in they days when they figured out how to extract members dues out of unions. The mob has respectability now. The mob is government.

Chances are, nothing good is going to happen with respect to healthcare for the next hundred years are so. When the public is given a fantasy and believes in a golden notion, only long term suffering can change minds. Look for more and more sickness and untreated maladies before expecting Trump or anyone else to fix Obamacare. The mob not only owns your government, they also own the folks who are supposed to fix things that are not working.

Trump Can Never Win a Debate

Trump cannot win a debate. In Monday’s debate, Trump could have said and done a few things differently but it would not have mattered.

Imagine a basketball game where one of the teams meets with the referees the day before the game and decides how the game is going to turn out before it is even played. That is the situation Trump faces before a debate. To make things even harder, the news media already has stories and scenarios ready for the next day to explain just how bad Trump did.

The debates are between a politician and an indicted felon. Hilary Clinton is above the law. People don’t mind. That is human nature. This is a principle that goes all the way back to King David and before. Trump is not yet above the law. That puts him at a serious disadvantage. Any crime Trump had ever committed would be spotlighted. Non crimes will be called crimes. Hillary Clinton owns the FBI and has absolutely nothing to worry about legally or morally.

Trump supporters need to be pleased that he did just well enough. Now one in the world, under the same circumstances, would have done any better. If you like Trump, cross your fingers that they don’t get a chance to kill him before the election. They will if they get a chance.

There is an unspoken agreement between government, organized crime and larger trading firms. Manipulate prices if you wish as long as the results are higher prices. What a great way to make money this is, contingent of course on all of the big players in the financial arena being on the same page. There are plenty of losers but they don’t know they are being soaked or how it is being done. As a result of the Federal Reserve’s giving out free trading money ordinary people pay more for gas, milk, rent and all other life’s basics. People who simply save get nothing in terms of interest on their money because banks get all the money they want for nothing, from the Federal Reserve.
Theft is legal when it is accomplished through the use of government especially when the victims don’t mind. The thieves only have one risk. Financial assets might drop in price despite the organized efforts to keep them moving higher. It happened with real estate.
Right now we have a delicate equilibrium. All of the thieves are working together and the victims are not suffering enough to investigate the source of their hardships. What could happen to upset this cozy arrangement? What if the solution to the Cypress crisis were to burn the Russian Mob, or any other group milking the asset value enhancement cash cow? Up until now, the path of least resistance for big players has been to work together. If just one breaks ranks and decides to work the downside of the market, the result will be a stock market avalanche.

Government actually promotes organized crime. It is easy because Americans only deal in packaged ideas. So, what is organized crime? Organized crime is Vito and the hit men, drugs and prostitutes, right? Well, that is the packaged idea.
So, how does government promote organized crime? While the public is fixated on an old fixed picture of what organized crime is, organized crime mutates into something else and gets totally out of the public’s radar. Government helps by asserting that bringing down an organized crime activity will be bad for the economy. This was Eric Holders approach when testifying before congress recently. Why, not prosecute Wall Street criminals? It would hurt the economy. That pretty much gives the thugs a ticket to keep pillaging the economy with impunity.

Heaven to the mob is a legal way to steal money. The mob has found its heaven in Wall Street and high frequency trading. Did I say legal? Legal and illegal are actually the same when nobody minds. What is being done now actually is illegal and it will result in the destruction of U.S. financial markets faster than you are likely to realize. The cost to you will be very high, perhaps everything you own and all of your income. Heaven to the mob will turn out to be hell for the rest of us.
The unwinding of high frequency trading and working through the damage done due to our allowing years of corruption in our financial markets will turn out be the defining issue of your lifetime.
The Securities Acts of 1933 and 1934 makes it illegal to place orders without having the intention of making a transaction. High frequency trading is based on this very practice.
The logic of allowing this illegal theft to continue is simple. The belief is that enforcing securities laws against folks so powerful would put more stress on the economy than the system will tolerate.
