The Coming Freak Show

Download PDF Version

The campaign for the 2020 presidential election has be begun. Donald Trump has less than impressive polling numbers. Those numbers are extremely high in today’s political arena. Although he is well under 50%, there is not a politician in the western world who rates anywhere near that high. Donald Trump has his supporters focused on building the wall. He has them repeating meaningless mantras like “Make America great again.” Meaningful news is never reported. Congress never shares knowledge with constituents. If they did most lawmakers would lose their jobs. In a free society, citizens need information to accomplish the task of managing government. Since only a handful of constituents know what is really going on in the world or what genuine issues are in play, ordinary people have no effect on what government does or doesn’t do.

In the meantime, the Trump economy is transferring wealth and income from the bottom of the food chain to the top at an accelerated pace. Trump’s supporters get to hear kind words from him while they are being fleeced.

Democrats are throwing hats in the ring. The cast of Democratic candidates is going to be  part of the biggest freak show the country has ever seen. Very simply every democrat is running with agendas that that no government in the universe has a chance of accomplishing. The success of their issues depends upon their representatives being selfless and filled with the imaginary incentive to serve. Turn global warming over to government and watch feeding frenzies on government money ensue as public private partnership grow. How about ending racism or bias against LGBTs? Is government going to make folks love and appreciate one another? The whole concept of democracy comes down to being a way for people who vehemently disagree to live in the same place at the same time and still participate in government.

We live in a fascist world. Fascist means top down socialism. Fascism is a form of socialism. The campaign will come down to right wing top down socialist vs. left wing classic socialists. Statistically speaking there are no free market enthusiasts in the population at all.  When the race for president comes down to two candidates both will do all possible to avoid revealing who they really are.

With free market principles abandoned, peace disappears. Economics by force is the only other option. Principles of democracy are being abandoned also. Democracy serves as a source of peace also.  Lack of peace manifests itself in more ways than can be fathomed.

Campaign 2020 begins against a backdrop that includes a highly comfortable population, even with the lost of economic viability.  The American population is too comfortable to do a lot of critical thinking.  Notice how that changes, in cases when discomfort shows itself.  The only thing that makes the outcome of the presidential race not completely predictable is the possibility that unexpected events might make the citizens uncomfortable.  As comfort decreases, thinking increases a little. Actual suffering can spur all kinds of problem solving cerebral activity.

So, unless something out of the blue wakes up voters its going to be a total freak show from now until November 2020.

Predatory News

Fake news is not an accurate term. Predatory news is better. Mercenary news may be an even better term. Both apply. This is another case of folks fixating on how an institution is defined and being oblivious as to how it actually functions.

Informing the public is the ostensible purpose of the news media. When an interview is done, there is a result that is desired. Often the result is to hurt or even destroy someone. When a lie is told, yes the news is fake. The lie was told because the news media it is predatory and the lie is instrumental in accomplishing a goal.

On whose behalf does the news function as a predator? That is where the word mercenary comes in. The news media acts as an aggressor on behalf of who pays them. If the tech industry wants to import consumers and low priced labor, the news media acts as a mercenary and a predictor on its  behalf.

Watch the Animals

What is it with all the confusion? You might ask. Americans in great numbers are saying, we don’t want democracy! Give us a totalitarian state! Laws are only guide lines and not meant to be universally enforced. There is an anti Trump movement, but the movement is not offering anything.

To understand this perfectly, just acknowledge that human beings are animals. Like all animals, they behave differently in groups than as individuals.  With all animals, the strong take control of the herd, pack, or flock. They offer benefits to all animals who submit and carry out their agendas.

When functioning as individuals the brain and intellect operate as if each person is unique. As soon as a group forms, the animals start taking on group values and behave in ways the leadership appreciates. The Stockholm Syndrome is part of this process. Individuals submit and begin serving those who have dominated them.  In group behavior the major part of the brain is decommissioned and the reptilian brain takes over.  Notice that in a political campaign, all intellect ceases during the last three months prior to voting. All efforts turn toward getting others to act without thinking.  Human beings worship their leaders. They profess otherwise, but just watch them.

Never Trumpers are not thinking. Notice, they have no agenda other than running trump off. They are offering no alternative. The candidate they supported was not a progressive and barely different than Trump in all respects other than immigration. Trump is a corporatist as is Hillary Clinton. To a politician, corporatism is where the benefits are, so corporatism is where they are.  What the never Trumpers are going through has nothing to do with right or wrong. Their  side has validated them as special people deserving of special treatment and they cannot cope with being like everyone else. The left, progressives, democrats, republicans are whatever have done nothing for them and never will. Never Trumpers have submitted to a side that elevates and manages their self esteem.  To regain their lost self esteem, they will opt for a totalitarian state before they will accept what has happened.

How will this end? It depends on the nature of the suffering that follows. Suffering does bring on thinking by the brain itself.  Chances are we have seen the last of our days as a free people. To begin with freedom is never anything the masses seek. If the majority are free it is because freedom has been imposed on them. During the American Revolution, a small number of elites imposed freedom on all of the people in the colonies.

What is important now is to understand, if people appear as if they are not thinking, it is because they are indeed not thinking. They are functioning as animals in a group, like a heard. Their thinking is being done for them. They are used to it being that way and are offended that their circumstances have been disturbed.

What is the best way to train a human? Train humans the same way you train dogs. Offer them a treat and say the human version of “nice dog.”  Give them a pat on the head. That is all there is to getting human beings to serve their government.

In Search of Constants

Although there are claims to the contrary, there are no independent variables in economics. Typically, an economic model will assume one variable will change and other incentives will be undisturbed.  In the real world, when one variable changes, all other variables change also. For example the Federal Reserve will increase the money supply and assume that human behavior will remain unchanged in every capacity except the one they are trying to influence.  That of course is a gross error. When the Federal Reserve makes a change, the smart people of the world monitor, adjust and find ways to game the fed’s decision.

With Fantasy Free Economics, there are behaviors that can be counted on although these things are not numbers. Natural law will always trump economic dogma. For example, if an economic initiative begins with an immoral action, the costs will outweigh the benefits regardless of the initial logic of the activity. It will take time for the costs to accumulate and benefits can be pointed out initially. In the end the initiative will not work out for the best.

Clearly there is one factor that is somewhat stable, but again it cannot be reduced to a number. That is the stupidity of the general population with respect to political and economic issues.  Even this is not consistent and even a little variation can change the direction of the country. As long as people are comfortable, they will not entertain individual thoughts. Thinking is work and work is avoided. As soon as a little suffering begins, thinking  emerges as means to escape discomfort and misery. The few people who entertain unique thoughts will be rapidly copied.

As long as Americans are comfortable and not in any personal discomfort, they will believe anything they are told.  Change this and levels skepticism start to rise. Currently, words of the media and the old dialog are increasingly falling on deaf ears. Citizens are not believing things automatically. Clearly, there is a new awareness that despite all of the wonderful economic news that is being reported, the average person is falling behind and not able to make personal progress. The degree of suffering is actually increasing. As suffering continues to increase, there will be more interest in making changes in government. The changes asked for may not be of any value however because the new found thinking will be done by a population that is basically ignorant. But, watch for changes.

The New Messiah

Hollywood lost its messiah as have minorities and a few others. Although the elite, Wall Street, international banks and the others supported Clinton they have lost nothing. With Clinton they already had their cake and were about to eat it. Now they have gotten together with Trump and have made a new Cake.

The baton  has been passed. Quantitative easing and Federal Reserve stimulus will fade. The Trump team will replace it with corporate tax cuts followed by unprecedented federal spending. The theft will continue most likely until the entire country has been destroyed.

Did I say new messiah? Yes I did. That is because Americans did not vote for a conservative. They did not vote in a way that indicates they are taking control of the country. They elected a new leader to worship. What happens when Americans worship a leader? They end up paying tribute to the leaders friends. Trump’s initial doings look impressive and I cannot disagree that they need to be done. None of these things will have an effect on people’s economic lives.

Economic lives of American are dismal because citizens first and leaders second have rejected free market principles.

Is Trump going to do anything to loosen the grip the claws of fascism have on the country? If any such plans were in the offing, the stock market would not be hitting new highs. Every point the stock averages move higher the more it costs the average American. The costs are stealth in nature so that only a few know how they are being fleeced. Even private investors who own stock, as prices move into the stratosphere. may not come out all that well. There simply are no investments that generate a reasonable income without undergoing enormous risk.

The Source of Anxiety Over Trump Winning

Do not attribute the anxiety of the rich, celebrities or minorities to patriotism. With Trump as president, the rich have a good chance of being taken off welfare. Corporate profit margins are elevated because of Federal Reserve policy. The stock market is high because of government initiatives that move it up and keep it high.

Celebrities know nothing of politics and economics. The more the minds of the population are in the gutter, the more popular these folks are. Celebrities are worshipees.  Their fear is that with Trump’s iconoclastic style, they will no longer be worshiped. There are huge advantages to those who are successful in getting others to worship them.

Minorities are in a tough spot. Their perception is that government under Democrats is interested in helping them. Of course the poor get nothing on balance from government. Individual members of various minorities can be marched in front of cameras as beneficiaries of various government initiatives.  Benefits are kept highly visible while costs are hidden. On balance the poor take a beating from government. Immigrants naturally favor candidates who refuse to enforce the immigration laws that are currently on the books.

There are no selfless people. Self interest is the only relevant incentive people have in dealing with government. Mainstream economists work on the basis that there is also an incentive to serve. Perhaps there is for people who are heavily influenced by the spiritual world. The secular world is all about being animals and surviving in a hostile universe. Fantasy Free Economics allows no one to wear a halo. The president is just one of the animals, trying milk the office for personal benefit. Members of congress, the senate, supreme court and federal reserve are also animals milking their offices for personal benefits.

In politics, do not believe that there are good people trying to do good things for you. It is comforting to think that this is the case but it is not true. Politics is all about personal gain. All people are the same in that regard. Government is approached out of self interest and there are no exceptions. There are confused people who believe otherwise but there are no exceptions.

The rich are terrified of Trump because they are fearful of losing the advantages government provides them Those advantages are enormous and they won’t be relinquished freely.

Organized Crime Runs Healthcare

I frequently make the case that organized crime owns the United States government. That is not so you say? Just answer a few questions honestly and you will change your mind.

Other than through the use of government, is there any other way a thief can steal your money legally? Suppose organized crime had a way to take over the United States government, would they be interested in doing so? Is there any system in place that would stop organized crime from taking over government, if they had a way to do it?

So, has your answer changed? Does organized crime own the United States government? If you are still not convinced,  take notice. Anyone can run for office, start a super pac or make a campaign contribution. Are these the kinds of things organized crime is likely to do or would do they limit themselves to running whorehouses and selling dope out of love and respect for their country?

The American mind can be conditioned to believe anything and consider unbelievably vile activities to be patriotic. Is health insurance the same as healthcare? I have never heard an American, educated or otherwise make a distinction.

Paying for healthcare is not a complicated thing for government to do. Technically all that needs to be done is have doctors bill the government to get paid for seeing a patient. The very best healthcare system is to rely heavily on the free market. Citizens will have none of that. Citizens are not smart at all in making that choice but that doesn’t mean they deserve to reamed by the mob.

I should not have to tell people that health insurance is not a synonym for healthcare. That is a simple look and see process. Strangely hardly a soul is looking and seeing. In the meantime the health insurance for everyone initiative is a gift from heaven for organized crime. The opportunities to scam and skim are endless. The mob only seemed to have had it made back in they days when they figured out how to extract members dues out of unions. The mob has respectability now. The mob is government.

Chances are, nothing good is going to happen with respect to healthcare for the next hundred years are so. When the public is given a fantasy and believes in a golden notion, only long term suffering can change minds. Look for more and more sickness and untreated maladies before expecting Trump or anyone else to fix Obamacare. The mob not only owns your government, they also own the folks who are supposed to fix things that are not working.

Understanding the Panic

It is important to understand the exact engine that produces huge profits. For the last two decades that engine has been in the area of herding people and managing their opinions. The panic on the part of the world’s elite is due to their losing the ability to manage the thoughts and behavior of the population they market to. During the last election, they told the people to vote for one candidate but they voted for another. The mainstream media is paid to deliver their message. The public does not believe what the media has been telling them.

The greatest fear of politicians and bureaucrats is that the constituents will discover that they don’t need them. This may be the greatest loss the elite of the world has ever taken. Their floor has been pulled right out from beneath them.

What is seldom noticed is that the mind develops a resistance to thoughts and ideas the same way a body develops a resistance to drug. It is not the fact that it is a lie that turns people off. It is the fact that the same old lie heard over and over again eventually starts being dismissed.

The elite are behaving just as anyone does when their whole world is turned upside down. This is the source of their panic.

Banning Fake Opinions?

O.K. I get it. Fake news will be banned. There will be no use for court cases that involve slander, libel or defamation. No problem there, legal standards are only enforced on a selective basis anyway. Heck look at immigration.

If fake opinions are ever banned, that will be the end of politics as we have always known it.  The truth has no utility in politics. If fake opinions are banned, there won’t be a word said in the halls of Congress.

Think of the countless dollars that will denied professional athletes who get paid for endorsements.  What will happen to the advertising industry as a whole? In time telling lies in general could be banned. Just think, many rooms we walk into will be completely silent.

Just be glad that we have people in government to tell us what is real and what is not real. Look at all the good that system did the Germans during the 1930s and 1940s.

Changing Faces of Welfare

Download PDF Version

The welfare we provide the rich through the Federal Reserve system in just one year is many time greater than all of welfare we have provided the poor in all of our history. To that we have to add the benefits the very rich receive by using congress to guarantee their incomes and rig the markets they operate in.

The notion that the poor are the primary engine for never ending dependence on government has whiskers on it to say the least. Once an idea gains acceptance and catches on it develops a life of its own. When the time comes that it is no longer true, it is treated as fact regardless. Hardly a soul even wonders otherwise.

The poor do get some benefits, but the days when “helping the poor” seriously drove up the cost of government are long behind us. The true angst behind the current change in government is the fear by the rich of being cut off from their government benefits.  That fear is probably not well founded.  Trump’s tax and spending plans are tailored towards rewarding the politically powerful, just like those of the last two presidents.

Welfare for the rich is far more hazardous than welfare for the poor. The rich have the political power to see to it that their benefits continue growing.  Can you visualize a thousand sided figure? No you can’t. It is just as hard to fathom the amount of money the rich have extracted out of the general population over the last forty six years by using the government as a tool. The process is ongoing.
